How To Sync Google Chrome To Your Android

The ability to sync bookmarks across Google Chrome for PC and your Android device is made possible by your Google Account. It is possible to do this under two (known) scenarios: one, you could be using the beta release of Google Chrome for Android; two, your device is already running Ice Cream Sandwich (ICS). You're probably wondering how you can sync your Google Chrome browser with your Google Account. Fret no more because I'm here to guide you step-by-step.

STEP 1: Click the Control button on the far right of your Google Chrome browser.

STEP 2: Scroll down and click "Sign in to Chrome..."

STEP 3: A new window will pop up on your Google Chrome and will ask you to sign into your Google Account. Remember to use the account used for your Android device.

Once signed in, you can opt to sync everything (Apps, Autofill, Bookmarks, Extension, Omnibox History, Passwords, Preferences, Themes, Open Tabs). You also have the option to choose which of these you will sync to your Android.

In a few minutes you should see Google Chrome bookmarks synced to your device. Don't forget to follow me for more tips and tricks for Android! It's @shetalksandroid on Twitter.

  2. Yep :) You need ICS though to run Chrome for Android. I'm so sorry for the late reply @nitish... Your comment went to my spam box and I didn't see until now :(
